The Purdy Room
Named for the original owners of the home, Dr. & Mrs. O.C. Daniels. Dr. Daniels invented the surgical tool used today to remove tonsils. This cozy room has the original yellow pine floors and detailed paneled walls, antique furnishings, an extra long full bed with luxurious down topper, and fine linens. The beautiful ensuite has a tile walk-in shower and pedestal sink.

The Ragan family were the third owners of the home and from whom the Roe's purchased the property. This beautiful room views the magnificent magnolia tree from which the home received its current name. Restful blue accents, traditional furnishings, fine linens, full-size bed, adjoining full bath with enclosed toilet and tub/shower, are a few of the luxuries you will experience.

The Ragan Room
The Roe Suite
Luxury suite named for the current owners of Magnolia House with original yellow pine floors, antique furnishings, fine linens, and queen-size bed with 'cool gel' mattress. This room features its own private sitting area with TV and coffee bar. The luxurious ensuite entails marble floors, double vanity, the original claw foot tub, and tile walk-in shower with thermostat control. From this room you may tour the home at your leisure using the private access stairway located in the suite sitting area.

Dr. & Mrs. Purdy moved to Oriental in 1914 and were the second owners of the home. It is likely that this room was occupied by the couple given that items and prescription pads belonging to Dr. Purdy were found behind the fireplace mantle during restoration (see framed items displayed in the room). This spacious room contains its original yellow pine floors, a mix of antique & traditional furnishings, fine linens, and a queen-size sleigh bed with 'cool gel' mattress topper, and vintage-themed 3/4 bath with walk-in rainfall shower head.
